Well alot has been happening, i guess i should approach this in an organised fashion.
1. Had my GCSE final art exam. the topic was Structures, and we had 8 weeks to prepare. I came up with a pretty sweet concept, drawing influence from MC Escher and Michelangelo. The exam was earlier in april and the final product and be seen in my gallery... took me the better part of 10 hours but i'm happy with the product.
2. Went up to canada for the easter holidays and had the best time of my life. Also, i looked at art schools there but i've decided that i'm going to the Academy of Arts University in San Fransisco. I'll be doing a 6 week summer course there next summer to get accquainted with the place, and to get 4 preliminary credits!
3. I won the Ann Evans Art Prize, which is a prestigious award given to one student each year in my school (3000 students, thats the grandeur of it). Well there are three different art prizes, two for IB students and one for a GCSE student. what a nice way to end my gcse isn't it?
4. I've been doing alot of sports and such, running 5km a day plus hockey trainings one or twice a week. I won the most improved hockey player of the year which rocked, considering its only my first year and i'm a goalie.
5. I'm on my exam leave right now, meaning from now till june i only go into school maybe once a week for an exam and i'm holiday for the rest. so, that means from now till august i dont have class! Our last day of GCSE i painted myself, and i came dressed as a piece of art (a Mark Rothko? look for yourselves in my scraps).
for the above reasons, i'm sorry for not doing anything digital or worthy of submission. i've been doing heaps of drawing and painting for my exam, but no photography. haven't got the chance to be honest.
I looked back over my gallery and am highly embarassed at the cheap quality of my previous photos. which is why i would delete 80% of it if i didn't have to do it individually. so i'll just beg everyone not to go that far, and to only pay attention to my paintings from now on as that is where my strengths lie.
thanking you!

Not that that's a big deal or anything, but hopefully it will get more people to your gallery!
